This is a large 2-bed, 2-bath
duplex holiday rental apartment in the family-friendly Tavira Garden complex.
The front door opens directly onto the gardens close to one of the pool areas
and to the gym. The covered area is approx 120sqm/1300sqft and the entire floor
area is tiled. A large balcony off the living room gets the morning sun and is
ideal for breakfast.
Off the entrance lobby are the
dining room and the kitchen. From the lobby, steps lead down to the living room
and up to the bedrooms. The living room and both bedrooms are air-conditioned;
other than the kitchen, all windows are fitted with “blackout curtains”.
Bed-linen and towels are provided.
Bedlinen is changed, and the apartment cleaned, every 7 days; the towels are
changed every 3 to 4 days. Additional changes and/or maid-service can be
provided on request. Note: You need to provide your own pool/beach
towels.
The access area for the apartment
is pedestrianised with ample safe parking close by. The complex grounds, the
gardens and the common areas are well lit at night. Both the complex and the
town of Tavira can be regarded as relatively safe/secure areas. A sturdy wall
safe with 3 to 8-digit electronic combination (your choice) is provided.
The living room has two couches –
1x3-seater, 1x2-seater, stools, graceful standard lamps, occasional tables,
prints, etc. Equipment includes stereo unit, DVD, and Sat TV with BBC, ITV,
etc. WiFi broadband internet is provided in the apartment. The dining room has
a 6-place dining table and adjoins the kitchen. Both kitchen and dining room
are equipped to cater comfortably for 6 people. The dining room also has a
two-seater sofa-bed which pulls out to accommodate two small children or one
adult. Tables, chairs, umbrella, etc are provided on the large balcony off the
living room.
The kitchen includes 4-plate hob +
electric oven; microwave; cordless kettle; coffee percolator and grinder;
toaster; juicer; soup-maker; etc. There are also fridge/freezer, dishwasher,
vacuum cleaner, iron/board, drying frame, etc. The complex includes a self
service launderette where washing machine and drier may be used at a small
charge (€5,00 in 2008).
The master bedroom has a double
bed, individual bedside tables and reading lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers,
mirror, etc. This air-conditioned bedroom has a bathroom “en suite” with bath,
shower, WC, bidet, shaver socket, mirror, etc. The air-conditioned second
bedroom has twin beds with shared bedside locker and reading lamp, wardrobe,
chest of drawers, mirror, etc. The second bathroom is adjacent to this bedroom;
it has shower, WC, shaver socket, mirror, etc.
